“The plants never forgot me. They reminded me of where I belong, where I should be. To connect with nature, is to connect with myself. That is the best medicine one can ever receive.” —Priscilla M.
Plants have always been a part of my life. The taste of chamomile has brought me rest during many sleepless nights. Bay leaf tea when I had a stomach ache. Mullein when I had a cold. I can still smell the strawberries, mint, and countless things that grew in my grandmothers garden. I was taught that plants not only have medicinal properties but spiritual properties as well. All plants have more than one purpose, and if we listen closely, they can guide you. Although my grandmothers body has faded; her knowledge, and my mothers knowledge remains. This knowledge lives within me and is embedded in my DNA, its a part of who I am. My goal is to share all the magic and the medicine that the plants hold.
As an adult, it was all about remembering the plants that once held me as a child. I’m here to remind you of the abundant gifts that Mother Nature has provided us with. Of the relationship you may have forgotten about. That if you tend to her, she will tend to your heart in return. My garden is my sacred space, where i receive most of my messages & inspiration. The land has become my greatest teacher. Everything you see here, is my love letter to Mother Earth.
